because, it’s an opiate, kinda like heroin…….very addictive. I suggest quitting immediately. I went cold turkey, and never looked back. No one should’ve let you get started on that crap…..

Be careful using it, my best friend died from taking just 1…..she fell asleep and never woke up.

See if you can get Suboxone, a medication designed specifically for treating withdrawal symptoms from methadone. It ties up the opiate receptors in your brain. It’s a rescue medication, like Chantix is for smokers. Treatment involves taking it for 24-36 weeks if you are adolescent. Treatment can be shorter or longer for adults, depending on how many receptors one has (this is genetically determined). While methadone prevents withdrawal from opiates, Suboxone attains complete withdrawal.

Suboxone is usually administered through a clinic and a flat fee is charged. There will be a doctor and other Suboxone experts present, and you can drop in anytime.

The one drawback is mixing drugs with Suboxone, which can cause serious problems or death. If you screw up, there is a $ 30 US fee for an administrated kit that screens the opiate out of your blood, so if you make a mistake, there is no problem. Then you can skip the clonodine and valium, both of which cause dependence.
Check Suboxone out on the web! The very best of luck to you!!
