I am taking methadone and lately in the summer my legs swell and retain water. though my left ankel that i just had a tatoo done on swells much more. why and is there something wrong with my thyroid or what?

No, your legs are retaining water. It is prob due to the methadone. the tatoo leg may swell more because the skin can’t stretch there and it overflows to the rest of your ankle.
