I do not use heroin, I have been taking painkillers for a few months and find myself withdrawing when I do not take any. I have been told that methadone and suboxone can be used for treating this. Yes, Methadone and Suboxone are both used to treat opiate addictions. Suboxone is a lot safer and more convenient as you will only need to visit the clinic once a month for your 30 day prescription than opposed to visiting daily at a Methadone clinic.
