I imagine the main thing is that they can make you very sleepy. I’ve used both, (not valium, but rather, ativan, another benzo) and they used to sedate me, but not anymore. My body adjusted.

when i would take methadone with xanax, i would lower the dosage of xanax. watch the amounts, the worst it has done to me is caused me vomit and sleep for a few hours. it usually takes 3 days for oxycodone to get out of your urine as well as valium or any narcotic pain reliever, depending on your body weight. it is in your system well when you start to feel it’s effects.
