methadose which is pretty much the same as methadone. they use it in methadone clinics, does that and methadone show up on a standard 5 panel test. i hear it doesn’t i’d just like to know the answer for sure tho. thank you

This idiot I know is presicribed Roxycotons, Xanex, Methadone and maybe something else. He overdosed on a coctail of these about 3 months ago, as a result he got pnuemonia from the puke in his lungs. He says he quit eating his xanex 2 weeks ago and has lowered is Roxy consumption from 5/ day to 1. Tonight he had a seizure (outsretched stiffened hands, throat gargling, profuse sweating, skin reddenning, and shaking followed by severe disorientation).
So I am asking is the likeliness of this seizure to be a result of withdrawal or is this reaction more likely to be a result of the accumulation of these drugs in his system over time (almost 2 years)?
Some extra info. he is 23 years old and LEGALLY prescribed these drugs. He pays his Dr. with his unemployment money (more than $ 250/wk.- I think up to a year), and buys his legal prescriptions with more of that unemployment money, but can’t afford to pay more than $ 50/mo. for child-support.

get off the methadone. I have had enough of what it has done to me. I have gained over 60lbs from it, my skin (which was always great) is now a mess and it is now starting to rot my teeth! I already had to have a back tooth taken out! Anyways, things are great, i have been clean, got a schlolarship to college, and have been raising my 2 boys (one with autism) So wiht all of this going on im my life (and as a single mom) i cant be sick. So, i am serisouly thinking of switching to suboxone. What do you guys know about going from methadone to suboxone? I wont be sick right, since my dose of methadone is so low? Also, the side effects i mentioned above done happen with suboxone right? I REALLY just want to be off everything but i am not gonna wait another 30 weeks just to get off 30mgs of methadone. So i really need to talk to people who have been in this type of situation! THanks guys for any input!
