darvocet is weaker than vicodin. both are opiates/narcotics but vicodin is stronger. vicodin side effects are much more intense than those of darvocet. you get a more intense “high” with vicodin than with the other. vicoden contains hydrocodone which is a stronger opiate than propoxyphene with is a milder narcotic.
side effects of both are: drowsiness, euphoria, restlessness, itchy, and after prolonged use, constipation. keep in mind that the side effects mentioned are stronger with vicodin than with darvocet.

I know someone who has been taking it for 13 years. 120 mg. And he wants to get off of it because its coming between him and his family and I wanna do everything I can to help. What can help him come off of it that is non narcotic? Any places he can call? Has anyone ever came off of it and what’s it like? I don’t think he can stop cold turkey because I heard it can kill his especially since he has been taking so much for so long. Please help!!
