Mixing Medications and Their Effects?

Question by koolcat: mixing medications and their effects?
well, i just read in the news that anna nichole son died from deadly mixture of zoloft, lexepro, and methadone.
why would doc give him two meds for depression.

I take lyrica for nerve pain. i was taking zanaflex (musle relaxant) and i take over counter decongestant, claritin, and nasonex

I take 5 different meds for my depression. Mine is so severe that no one medicine can do it all. I have one doctor that I see monthly to monitor my dose. Anna Nicholes son died of methadone not antidepressants.
