Methadone Uses: Does “piece” Mean “pipe”? if My Son Gets a Txt Asking “Do U Have a Piece We Can Use” It Means Pipe, Right?
Question by mary k: Does “piece” mean “pipe”? If my son gets a txt asking “do u have a piece we can use” it means pipe, right?
I’m sure he’s selling and maybe using, too. Txts every day asking if he has methadone, kush, adderall…he denies it, of course. I can’t prove anything but obviously there is a connection somewhere. Also can someone tell me if this msg means anything: Ham and eggs are on the way. I hope you have your griddles ready. Is it hash?
Thanks, everyone. My son has a new phone number & I have his old phone, which is how I see these messages. When confronted, he told us he sold pills once. He said he wouldn’t do it anymore (he’s 18 and not at home, and we help support him while he is in school) but obviously he is lying. The people who call haven’t gotten word that he has a new number, but it’s been 2 months now…maybe they think he still sells but he really doesn’t (a possibility, but I know it just sounds like denial on my part.) Except that the text about a “piece” was from his roommate, so there goes that theory. His dad thinks there’s not much we can do unless we babysit him 24/7. We will probably have to cut him off financially, but if he’s dealing and has a job, it probably won’t have much impact, except to have bad feelings toward us.In the talk we had with him, we asked about it & wanted to believe, but the next talk will be telling him we know he’s lying & deal with it from there. It’s hell. So much worry.
