Methadone Addiction: SC governor’s veto on methadone clinics overridden
COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) – South Carolina legislators have overridden Gov. Nikki Haley’s veto to give the state’s health agency more oversight of methadone clinics and other facilities that distribute narcotics to treat addiction.

Methadone Addiction: Suit filed in Gregg jail death
A lawsuit was filed Wednesday in Federal District Court in Marshall on behalf of a Gilmer woman who died while incarcerated in the Gregg County Jail. Amy Lynn Cowling, 33, died while jailed on Dec. 29, 2010.
