i have no intentions of taking it i am just curious.

It could kill them, depending on the dose and whether or not they’ve been drinking/doing other substances.
It’s prescribed to people with huge tolerances to pain medications or heroin, not the average enthusiast or dabbler.

It would affect them, but it would be very dangerous. Methadone stays in the system long after its effects have worn off, so it’s super-easy to OD on it. It could interact with alcohol and/or another medication they’re taking. I don’t have any details on how much methadone it takes to get high, and I don’t recommend drugs but if someone was going to get high anyway, I’d tell them to stick with a safer drug such as marijuana… and make sure you don’t have to do any driving while high. 🙂
