i was just wondering what happens if a around about 14 yr old takes one methadone pill?
what does it feel like?
any side effects?
or does it just make you sleepy?

Methadone is a synthetic opiate, and acts in a similar way to morphine or heroin. I highly recommend people of all ages stay away from opiates unless they have very strong willpower and are well aware of the effects, as opiates are extremely addictive. There is no reason for a 14 year old child to ever take any opiate, ever.
If you are looking for something to help you get to sleep, try some natural herbs as a child who is 14 should not really be using any prescription or over the counter medicine unless absolutely necessary, most medicine is very harmful to the user when not necessary.
If you are wanting to experiment with drugs then wait a couple of years and try something natural such as Cannabis with an experienced user. It is a very safe natural drug that can produce nice effects, and is the perfect thing to experiment with if you want to have a little fun. Other than that though your best bet is to avoid most drugs altogether, especially man-made drugs as they are usually more dangerous and have great overdose potential.
