I’ve been taking 6 tablets of 10 mg. percocets a day for 2 years. (prescribed by my pain doctor). I moved to another state and I am still in the process of finding another doctor to prescribe my medicines. I did find a doctor here that would only prescribe me 90 10 mg. tablets of methadone a monnth. I had them filled, but never took any. However, I ran out of my percocet completely, I was trying to take it sparingly, but have finally ran out. I started to go through withdrawal symptoms, and still could not find another doctor. Someone told me to have a few drinks everyday, and that would help the withdrawals. Wrong!! Anyway, my question is this. I had a bottle of wine this morning and decided to go ahead and take 3 of the methadone tablets. I thought they were 5mg, and then remembered they were 10mg. Now I’m afraid I’m going to overdose on taking the 30mg at once with alcohol in my system. I just ran out of my percocet 3 days ago, and am used to taking 60mg. a day. Does anyone know or been through this same thing? Please serious answers only, I feel bad enough. This state is the worst state to find pain management and I’ve been trying. No doctor wants to take cash, and looks like they are already overloaded with patients as well. Thank you for your answers in advance.

Go to an urgent treatment center or to the emergencu room of your local hospital or to a clinic.
You need help and it cannot come from Yahoo Answers. Do you hope we will tell you how to proceed. Cannot do that. Hope it all works out well.
