HOW LONG to PERCOCET/OXY WITHDRAWALS LAST FOR?

Question by KJ22: HOW LONG TO PERCOCET/OXY WITHDRAWALS LAST FOR?
I have done my research on opiate addiction and when pain killers become dangerous. I have read everything from books to magazines to internet research. I went to whole foods and did a huge shopping for things such as:
Fresh fruits, smoothie drinks, spinach, FIJI water (def helps more than regular water), electrolyte powder to add to water, green tea, apple cider vinegar, yogurt, nyquil, benedryl, Epsom salts, b-complex vitamin, multi vitamin, fish oil supplements, soap with ph balance in it, emergen-c and easy to make meals.
Day 1 wasn’t so bad I started getting the chills and out of body feeling. I already suffer from anxiety, this is just making it 100x worse. I took a valium with a bowl of cereal and smoothie at breakfast along with my other vitamins. It definitely helped somewhat.
Day 2 I did the same. I forced myself to go to the market and out for ice cream with a friend even though I really didn’t want to. I feel absolutely EXHAUSTED. I am keeping the fluids going. I am having horrible cravings but keep telling myself I have made it this far- do not turn back!
I believe support systems are important, I really only have 2 good friends who understand but they have crazy work schedules so it is difficult for them to be here for me. My family just sucks no other way to put it. They make me want to cave it and do just one more pill but I am trying my absolute best to not give in!
-I am also keeping a daily journal to keep track of my feelings and what I am taking and doing. Hopefully this helps for whenever I think about getting another pill. Suboxone is offered at many places which I have taken once before but had an allergic reaction to. I think the doctor honestly gave me too much BUT if this gets worse and not better I may try to give it another shot but a quarter of a strip. I would really like to do this naturally and cold turkey but it is the hardest thing I have EVER been through. It is mental and physical. It is hell. I’m trying to see the light at the end of the tunnel but I can’t. I am truly giving it my all I really really am….

It all depends on how much you are taking and for how long,,,methadone is the best thing unless you want to go through full blown withdrawls,, which will last about a week and you have it exactly right,, it is HELL,, it’s just like going to hell,, your entire body will hurt, vomiting, diarrhea, no sleep,,,, most people don’t make it through them,,, but the best way to go through them is to get a lot of Gatorade,, jello, Imodium,, this is the important one,, there is something in it that lessens all the symptoms,,as far as all the things you listed I don’t think you are going to feel like eating,, it’s always best if you can get a Rx for something like Xanex. .

other than that good luck,, but it is far easier going the methadone route,, you control the dose you can ween off it,,, but you will have problems sleeping for a long time. If you make it it will be the best thing you ever did for yourself,,, I’ve seen hundreds of people lose everything,,,,

anyone that has never been through them before have No idea what it’s like,, I’ve seen so many people that mess with pain meds and then they end up wishing they never heard the word opiate

You really don’t want to mess with suboxone or subutex unless a doctor is giving them to you,,, it’s real easy to mess up with them

The most important advise,,,,, you will never stop until YOU decide you are tired of the whole mess,, so it will be a lot easier if you don’t try to minimize the withdrawls with self medicating,,, if you want off them you will be fine and back to normal in a month or two,,, if you can’t make it research methadone,, that’s how I finally kicked,, I went through full blown dope sick twice,, never again
