How Bad Is Suboxone for You? Does It Affect Your Liver? ?
Question by grapejuiceks: How bad is suboxone for you? Does it affect your liver? ?
I’ve been taking suboxone in an attempt to get off opiates. It curbs the cravings but I’m experiencing irritating side effects. It seems to be giving me bad breath, my hearing seems like it has gotten worse as well as my vision. And I’m even more constipated than when I was on opiates. I can deal these things though as long as it keeps me off the hard stuff and doesn’t affect my liver. I’m just afraid these symptoms might be permanent or something.

suboxone is actually an opiate itself so it’s not likely to help very much in getting you off opiates. I read reports that it’s just as hard to quit suboxone as other opiates. Some people have reported that it does help but I’ve read about some nasty side effects they experienced. In any case I don’t think taking it for a long period of time is a good idea.
