Been on methadone for 5 yrs now only on 30mgs. I cant stand the side effects anymore. The weight gain, the bad skin, the teethe rotting etc.. Wanna switch to subonxone cause it doesn’t have side effects and easier to detox off of. BUt, i am scared and need to know if i will be okay, is this the right decision or should i just detox off methadone (could take another 6 months or more )

Go with Suboxone. I am on my fourth day after detoxing from Methadone and I am miserable.

Hi, if your going to switch to suboxone you have to be off methadone for 3 days,I wanted to do that to but I was scared to be sick for 3 days,but I have alot of friends on suboxone and they say its so much better than methadone and no side effects,if you can go the 3 days than go for it,let me know how it is cause im seriously thinking about it to.good luck
