Question by John: This issue has to do with overdosing on pain medication?
yea i recently diagnosed with neuropathy from my family doctor. He said it was from a surgery i had from my club feet. I also recently was discharged from the hospital from overdosing on methadone which i was buying off the street “illegally” i was just wondering if i can get a referral from the local neurologist for pain management and if they can get me anything good to deal with the pain because i am only 19 yrs old i cannot deal with this everyday, severe, chronic pain anymore. I already tried amitryptiline, tegretol, and topamax.

Question by Matt: how to cure withdrawls?
I have been a methadone user for about 5 years. The last two years I have been on smaller doses but in between doses I have brewed poppy seed tea. My methadone dose is only about 60-80 mgs per week. And about 200-500 grams per week of Poppies. I really don’t have a set amount it varies from week to week because I don’t go to a clinic I get it off of the people who go to the clinic which is why I get small doses. Most of the time I have my doses timed well and don’t have withdrawal symtoms. Now lately I have been wanting to save money and not do as much of either substance and now contemplating cold turkey. What are some things I can use to help ease the withdrawal symptoms? I tried some Tylenol p.m but I hear that really doesn’t work.    Read more...
