Like when they’ve woken up from the overdose and the hours after that?

It depends on what they took. I overdosed on methadone about 6 years ago. I didn’t feel anything. Just went to sleep. At some point during the night I vomited and inhaled it. Luckily I was sleeping with someone who called the paramedics. Most downer overdoses are like this, they are out of it and feel nothing.

Overdoses on uppers I.E. amphetamines and cocaine are different. Hyper alertness and seizures result.

The other person explained tylenol (paracetamol) overdose.

what are opioids? i’m very distressed because someone i live with has an opioid history.

i don’t even know what opioids are, but he’s currently prescribed methadone and lexapro. is he potentially dangerous?

i just found out.
EDIT: i think that he’s still using something. he’s advocating drug usage on the internet and doing strange things at home here. and getting into a lot of unsafe accidents.
EDIT: i don’t have access to his doctor. he doesn’t give me his medical information. i found these things out by reading things that he’s written over the internet.

Lexapro is an anti-depressant/anti-anxiety pill. Methadone is generally prescribed to people who once had an addiction and no longer do. I wouldnt be too concerned about it.    Read more...
