Ok, so my friend got addicted to oxycontin;

now he can get 10 mg Methadone pills (people use methadone to get off opiates)

my question is:

If he takes 2 10mg methadone pills in 1 day (without using any other drugs); will he get sick or overdose?

(because I know that methadone causes more deaths than every drug combined)

Correction – alcohol causes more deaths than any other drug combined.

The problem with answering your question is that I do not know your friend’s case personally. Its really something that only a doctor should be able to tell him and I would not follow the advice of anyone else except for what his prescription tells him. Depending on how much of the oxy your friend used to use will determine how much methadone he should take. If your friend was a heavy user then odds are taking the second pill (only as needed) will not cause him any harm. But again he really should only be following the dosage prescribed to him.    Read more...

I need answers from people who know what they are talking about or have first hand experience!My wife passed away three hours after seeing her doctor.I tried CPR which I know from twelve years of the army.Anyway,they,the paramedics tried to shock her and gave her an injection of I beleive narcan with no help.She was prescribed Methadone.Xanax,Lexapro,andPromethazine,also Resperidol and Atienol for high blood pressureI beleive she overdosed and the attending physican at the hospital would not sign her death certificate nor would the coroner four days later when we had her funeral her doctor that prescribed all this medication signed it saying she probably died of heart failure and liver failure and diabetes.Is that strange or what?
