Getting Over Morphine Addiction?
Question by Sinomi: Getting over morphine addiction?
Hi, I have been prescribed morphine time release pills (60 mg) 2 times a day for my leg, as I was in an accident a year ago and it still gives me pain occasionally when the weather is bad and when I put too much stress on it.
However I do know I am addicted, and It didnt bother me honestly since I never questioned it, and never wanted to think of not being dependant on it.
However I recently met a man who has changed my life in many ways. we have been dating for almost 6 months and I honestly think hes the one for me (not getting into a different topic but, he makes me feel i want to better myself)
I visit him as he lives in a different state but the biggest thing keeping me from seeing him for long periods is a very stupid reason. my medication.
I am scared of being without it as I go through withdrawals, but yet I do want to get over my addiction, I hate having him see me this way, even though I do have pain i feel bad i’m always out of it because of that, or worrying i’ll run out and have to go back home. its beginning to strain us and I dont want to lose him.
