Question by loved: What’s the deal with all this Methadone use?
And HOW does this drug…and any other addictive painkiller..make it onto the streets? I’m NOT talking about those who are on it for pain prescribed by a doctor. My brother died recently from an accidental overdose of Methadone, Xanax, alcohol, and who knows what else. I feel so angry that these drugs are so easy to get. People are dying left and right.

So… what are some theories about how these drugs get onto the streets in large quantities?

methadone is not a painkiller it’s an amfetamine. it makes your pulse grow.people with heart condition usually take such medicine.in slang it’s often related to the word “speed”

Question by Lauren B: what is the long term affects of a methadone overdose?
i lived through a methadone overdose, and ive been expriencing pains in my abdominal area, and server head aches. its been a year now since the overdose and i was in a coma for 2 days. i had never recieved medication for the after overdose. i was wonder if i could die now because of it. like never wake up tomorow or have a seizure or something. any thoughts?

I think the effects of the overdose would not be as bad as the long term effects of doing drugs. I just quit last week from a 10 year oxycontin binge. I worryabout my liver and what i did to myself over the years. We can only practice the right diet and exercise and live the best way we know how. You will be fine especially if you are young. I only hope that i can keep it up with no meds.    Read more...
