Question by Chris: Effects of taking methadone and adderall at the same time?
During the day yesterday i took 10 mg adderall and then last night around 9 o’clock i took 15mg of methadone and was wondering why i felt a little sick and just want to sleep all day today. I’ve never been so tired in my life and been sleeping all day, im not that hungrey, and when ever i get up I feel a little fried and dizzy and was wondering why this happens, anybody have suggestions?

It’s because of the methadone. For someone who does not have a tolerance to opiates 15mg can be too much. Even if you could handle it before doesn’t mean you can handle it this time. A lot of things play a role with that. Remember that it’s very easy to overdose on methadone and 15mg can be a lethal dose. I would highly recommend that you stay the hell away from methadone. If you want an opiate buzz stick to vicodin or percocet. Don’t mess wth methadone. You could die in your sleep 24 hours after you take it.    Read more...

My boyfriend is addicted to methadone, oxycontin, and xanax. He is a very smart, loving, and caring man; but, the drugs are taking over his life. He does nothing anymore – work, sex, leave his house. He has no motivation without his drugs. He fills his scripts for all three mentioned above and takes all the oxycontin and xanax in a weeks time. He maintains on methadone the rest of the month, and a few illegally bought painkillers. The doctor gave him the methadone to keep him from withdrawing from the oxycontin; but, writes him oxycontin and Xonix – yes, I question this pay ahead quack of a doctor. Anyway, I am at my wits end. I don’t want to make his problem worse by totally cutting him off; but, I also want a life. It’s just a matter of time before I find him overdosed. He has heart problems anyway.
