cold turkey is the only way out for a junkie in my option they’ll take methadone when they cant get any smack.

With methadone you’re just switching one addiction for another. Subuxone is popular but as I understand very expensive. Please consult with a doctor who understands addiction. Heroin withdrawal is uncomfortable but if you undergo a medically supervised detox they will give you medication for the muscle aches and nausea. Good luck.
