Ok, what is the affect of 78MG of methadone, and just basically what is it and why would my step dad need to take it. My alcoholic mom says that one drop of it can kill a baby. I just want to get informed. Also, if it isn’t prescribed to you, can you take it and get a high?What are the risks/ side effects?

Methadone is a very addictive prescription drug.it is only used to ween people off of Heroin.You should stay away from it at all costs.It gives a high similar to Heroin.Not sure of the side effects other than addiction.

Methadone will KILL YOU!!! Trust me, DO NOT under any circumstance touch it!! Google it! You’ll see! This is not a drug that can be played with. It is used for recovering heroin adds. It is very dangerous and very addicting. There is no BUZZ!! Just passing out in a coma! Your step father was started on a VERY low dose and has built a tolerance for it! DO NOT TOUCH IT!! YOU WILL DIE!!!!!!
