Wed I start MMT, I talked to the clinic 9 days ago, and since have not used oxycontin… but have been suffering cravings and all that “great” stuff…if I don’t test dirty, will I not be allowed to start methadone treatment?
My name is Ashley, I’m a female, don’t call me “man”. and for anyone who is going to look at this… I’m not some random junkie.. one of my EX best friends got me into oxy, and it gets you in it’s grip in no time at all…I know it’s synthetic heroine, that’s why I’m stopping all together… I had a full time job untill I was 6 weeks preg, and since i found out I was pregnant, I have cut down as much as I can without help.
I’m pregnant, and methadone is a safe treatment, the clinic I’m going to had 4 births this year, and they were all healthy active babies, I know this risks of fetal withdrawls, but the doc at the clinic said I have to committ to this and I can’t stop taking the methadone untill after I give birth, so the baby won’;t withdrawl… anyway, I’ve researched for a while before I even called the clinic, but at this point, it’s the best way to go about STAYING sober. blaah blaahh blaaah, I just wanted to ask this because it’s sunday and the clinic is closed.

You have done 9 days cold, you are 1/2 way there to use nothing. You have passed the worst part.
But to answer your ? clean will probably keep you out especially with 9 days dry.
