One of my neighbors is pregnant, and yet she still continues to use heroin. I just wanted to know if her baby will suffer because of it too. Maybe I could warn her.

Well, it can certainly cause some serious complications during pregnancy. This includes miscarriage and premature delivery. There is also a big risk that the infant will have SIDS– sudden infant death syndrome. Women who are pregnant and are using heroin are suggested that they take methadone. Though the infants may get physically dependent upon it, they can be treated soon after.
I really hope your neighbor gets treatment soon. The baby’s going to suffer, and he/she doesn’t deserve it.

Yes, there is a great chance her baby will suffer. The baby can be born with defects (physical and mental). It is very dangerous that she is still using heroin. I suggest you inform the police and the women that she is harming the unborn child inside her.
