This Issue Has to Do With Overdosing on Pain Medication?

Question by John: This issue has to do with overdosing on pain medication?
yea i recently diagnosed with neuropathy from my family doctor. He said it was from a surgery i had from my club feet. I also recently was discharged from the hospital from overdosing on methadone which i was buying off the street “illegally” i was just wondering if i can get a referral from the local neurologist for pain management and if they can get me anything good to deal with the pain because i am only 19 yrs old i cannot deal with this everyday, severe, chronic pain anymore. I already tried amitryptiline, tegretol, and topamax.

you should find a pain clinic in your area. See your regular doctor about this.

There’s a lot more to try. I’m on neurontin and it’s working very well. You could try that. I’m sorry things are going badly. However, you WILL be labeled a drug seeker if you don’t stop buying things off the street. You’ve got two choices here.

You can ask for pain managment and do exactly as directed by your doctor.

Or…you can keep buying stuff off the street. You’ll end up labeled a drug seeker and no doctor or hospital will give you narcotics ever again. My best friend has migraines. She does ONLY as her doctor’s say and she’s treated like DIRT by every hospital we go to because they’ve decided she’s a drug seeker. You’ll be screwed if this happens to you.
