I don’t know any vocational schools that do any drug testing prior to entering the schooling, and I used to teach MA and phlebotomy at a for profit career school…all the school wanted was the tuition money…they didn’t even care if they had a felony that would prevent them from getting a job later

You should not have any issue getting accepted. There most likely is not going to be a drug test for getting into this program. When you would have a drug test would be by a potential employer once you are looking for a job. In the case that there is a drug test, most basic drug tests won’t test for methadone specifically but will just test for all opioids. So if you are prescribed methadone you would test positive for opioids. But if you do have a subscription from your doctor, that would be okay as it is not the same as using an opioid illicitly.
Good luck.
