A friend of mine is contemplating taking custody of her newborn grandson who was born to a heroine addicted mother. I have extensive experience with heroine addicted adults and few if any, ever get off methadone. What are the short term and long term implications of caring for a methadone baby? Should the grandmother have access to Narcan?

Heck the Dr. will know and so will a therapist that can help. Also the children and families can help with that too. Get all the info and hug the little guy!! So sorry!! But you can work with anyone!!
