substitute? No. Methadone is for a program to help you get off narcs all together. You don’t want to take pain killers and Methadone, you’re defeating the whole purpose of meth. It helps counter the withdrawal symptoms for heroin and morphine and stuff like that.

I was in a pretty bad car wreck about 3 years ago. I was on my way to college when a car pulled onto the highway going across traffic. I hit the other car headon doing about 70 mph. By the grace of God I walked away but since then I have had terrible back pain. I have been to tons of doctors, had MRIs done, physical therapy, etc. Nothing helps and none of the doctors have found anything wrong. I started going to a pain management dr. about 6 months ago. He put me on oxycodone 10mg as needed for pain. I started out taking maybe one a week, now I take up to 4 or 5 a day. I can’t go one day without them. How do I get off of these things? The dr. won’t perscribe anything else. I have a 2 year old son and my husband I want to try for another baby this summer but I can’t when I can’t stop taking these pills. my husband doesn’t know how many pills i take or that i can’t make myself stop. any advise would be greatly appreciated.
