One of the advantages of suboxone is the fact that it is less rigidly controlled as compared to methadone because it has a lower potential for abuse and is a lot less dangerous in cases of overdose. Also, as patients progress opn therapy, the physician may write a prescription and let the patient take home a supply of the medication.

Suboxone can be used for detoxification, but it is used mostly for maintenance purposes. It relieves cravings and puts the individual on the way to a better lifestyle.    Read more...

i’ve been on methadone for years and about a year ago i tried crystal meth. i began to notice that when i used crystal, i didnt need as much methadone. why is that? i also wanted to know why after prolonged use of both, i began to loose my strength,muscle.why?

Meth is literally poison and methadone is essentially meth that is released in monitored amounts so as to help you slowly get off of meth. The reason you didn’t need as much Methadone is because they were pretty much the same so it reduces the amount necessary to keep you ok.
