You need to go to rehab and get help!
Answer by Chuck Manson
Checking into a detox and rehab may help. Your body has become physically dependent upon it, hence the feeling sick, aches, sweats and all the other symptoms that go along with withdrawal. Methadone is used to ween people off of heroin and it’s fairly common that they become dependent on it in the process. Checking into a detox can help with some of the symptoms and following up in a rehab can help. If you’ve been using methadone for years, besides the physical addiction, you’ve probably also have a mental obsession with it. 28 days usually doesn’t fix years of abuse. Look into support groups, such as NA(Narcotics Anonymous). Being around people that can relate to what you are going through can help and more importantly keep you sober. Good luck.
