He sent me text messages talking about God on and on and how he changed his life and how he might have someone in his life now but he is not letting anyone in but Jesus. He went on to say he quit smoking pot and wants to get off the Methadone soon.
He use to be a Heroin addict and I helped him get into the clinic for help and I fully supported him for over three years when he did not work. He hated his parents but I helped bring them together and now they are buddies. He refused to go to church with me. Now I don’t go at all. He has a job now and I don’t. I am the loser now I guess. I don’t know.
All I got was a dog out of it. lol I love the dog.
Don’t you hate to hear when your ex changes for the better when you are finally moving on with your life? I am happy for him but I just wish he could have changed when I was in the picture.

well my parents have a drug abuse history they usto do alot of drugs and were addicted so they are now on methadone, but my dad started using crack/cocaine and my mom is now doing cocaine and they are both taking pills, my sister now has a drug addiction problem & my brother sells drugs, they are both in trobule with the law. and as for me i am majorly depressed, and have tried to commit sucidide, and also cut myself. i can’t stand being alive, i am 16 and already dropped out. i have no reason to live & im nothing and i have nobody. all i did have was my mom and know shes slowly fading away and i can’t deal with this. i know whens shes using and i can’t stand it. the time i did try to commit sucicide she was doing drugs, she didn’t even care to help me. we fight majorly when she uses because i can’t stand it. i have a pshyctrist now, but i did not tell her about my parents drug abuse because i am afraid they will take me away from my parents, i dont want that. what should i do? help =[

why do alot of heroin addicts have really bad teeth (rotting & falling out etc) ?
is it the heroin itself, the methadone that they periodically use or just their lifestyle (not brushing or flossing etc) that causes this ?

my boyfriend takes over the counter sleeping pills like Tylenol pm..or the generic kind is usually the kind with pain reliever in it…but he takes at least 20 every night sometimes more in addition to that he was on the methadone clinic but he got kicked off not long ago so now he is using heroine…but my main question is what can happen if he continues to eat the sleeping pills and if heroine makes it worse? please no rude answers

He said that if heroin addicts really wanted to they could do cold turkey for two weeks and be sorted, the pain isnt that bad. I asked had he ever taken drugs, he replied no. He said he believed that methadone and subutex where useless and doing rattle is best??? also alcoholics could use harm reduction and ” just cut down” It is not that easy I think. what do you think about this?
