I believe my ex-husband is using again and my 15 daughter spends weekends with him. What to do?

Melissa asked:

How can I legally go about doing something about this. I do not want my daughter going back because I fear for her. He lives with his parents. She found some pills in his room that turned out to be Methadone. He has a past of drug abuse but was supposedly clean for about 4 years.

I live in Tennessee if that makes a difference.

Thank you
Melissa
I always thought that unless you had severe chronic pain, you had to get Methadone at a Methadone Clinic.

a question for heroin addicts or people with experience?

sarah asked:

i have been an addict now for 6 years, and been trying to quit for nearly 6 years, i hate what it has done to my life, all i do is get up and panick about how im going to get my next fix, i hate the drug and everyone i know on it hates it too, i have been in rehab twice and both times i came out and started using again,it controls me and when people say why dont you just stop i wish it was that easy. ive been on methadone but cant help using on top so thats no good and did nt have any luck with subutex either, i hate it when people say it makes you a bad person cause i have never stolen or prostituted myself even though i have thought about it i cant bring myself to do it, i fund it with my little bit of money i have and do car boot sales and things to afford it but im coming to the point that i cant see a way out of this for me and am afraid that i will be like this for the rest of my horrible life, its horrible, what is there left for me to do

What should i do, i don’t wanna be alone, but I know this guy is probably no good for me?

tough cookie asked:

I am 21, he’s 29. I started seeing him a month and a half ago. He has an “ex” (who’s 44) who is a recovering heroin addict and will probably be going to the methadone clinic for the rest of her life. Problem is, he went home to her 2nite and every nite when I first started seeing him. He swears he does not love her, but he left me today ( he was staying with me for the past 2 weeks) after calling me names nad being extremely verbally abusive. I dropped him off, he called me and all I heard was her in the background. I talked to her once before and she said he had been beating her for the past ten yrs. I am starting to believe this because for the past week he has been perpetually and viciously jealous of EVERYONE I talk to: my doctor is my boyfriend my friends, etc etc, Therefore I am called a whore from those allegations but he went back to his ex tonight. Not to mention I found a text on his phone from her a week ago to him saying he was using me and “not to fuck her over”
he denied he was using me
he said he just told her that to shut her up.
I don’t know what to do. It seems obvious to everyone else, but i am 21 years old alone and i have no family and just one fatal weakness: I am scared to death to be alone.
