Some accuse me of being misanthropic, but I do not care. Anyway, I see and hear a lot of stories about people who used to be criminals and now are good citizens and they are awarded with TV spots and interviews for news papers; or how a long time methadone user becomes clean for many years and now is a upstanding citizen… but that is how you are supposed to act and be in a society…
Why are the ex-societal outcasts held on a higher pedestal then people who never use drugs or who have always been modal citizens?

im a 23 your old male i been into drinking and smoking pot since i was about 13, in the last 4 years i started using cocaine heroin lsd mushrooms and exstacy, and about 6 years ago i started using pharmaceuticals like oxycontin methadone etc… i dont use the hard stuff on a regular basis but i just spent my last 30 bucks on 2 bags of heroin yesterday that i snorted that high was ok but it didnt even last that long i gotta wonder what im doing with my life and why im wasting so much money, i dont have a car or licence so i just cant go drive somewhere to get help, i have little friends, and my job is right next to me so i just walk there, any suggestions and not criticizing me would be appreciated. if you just call me a dumb druggie than you obviously have never been to my world i am a good religious law abiding citizen other than that
“just do not buy them” clearly some people just don’t understand, its nice your happy without substances i envy you, but without anything i feel like garbage and very depressed
also it has became worse because my girl who i just got out of a 5 year relationship with left me and within 3 months married another guy…so im going through a great deal of depression
alcohol is one of my worst enemies probably worse than all the illegal drugs
