When I was on regular pain pills (loracet,vicodin,etc.) it didn’t affect my sex life any. When I started using Oxy’s, it actually improved my sex life. It was hard(no pun intended) to achieve an erection but once I did, I could stay hard and last as long as I wanted. Now that i’m using methadone, i’m lucky to even get an erection and if I do, an orgasim is almost impossible, say once outta every 3, 4, maybe even 5 tries. I’m 30 years old and am in pretty good physical condition. I’ve been abusing opiates for about the last 12 years. Any opinions on Viagra and how it reacts w/ methadone?

I have a question about how to get off methadone. I used to have a problem with pain meds (obviously), but anyways I know it is very difficult to get off of methadone. I have a theory on how to get off of it I just want to know if anyone has done this. I am on 100 Mg’s a day. I want to get back on suboxone but I know you are supposed to get down to like 20 mgs of methadone before you can make the switch over. What if I went cold turkey on the methadone and took pills just for like 2 weeks to avoid the withdrawl until the meth was out of me, then hop back on subs. Any input would be much appreciated.
