Yes I have used a methadone treatment to kick heroin. It did help lower the craving for the drug but if you are not properly managed on it and lets say you end up in jail or some where that you can not get it you are in for a 60 day ride from hello. no sleep no food just sick as with the heroin it is only a 7 day ride. It does help on a health care managed program only.
And I am proud to say that I am 4.5 years drug free.

I have a friend is addicted to oxycontin and did methadone, didn’t work, then tried a drug called SUBOXONE and he seems to be doing quite well. Clean for about 5 months now.

I never used it but my sister did & it did not help her!
