Anyone detoxing off of Methadone? I can use advise?

I’ve been on a methadone maintenence program for 5 years and its time for me to get off this garbage. I was on 70 mgs. and I’m going down 2mgs. per week at my own request. Do you know any drugs to ask for to make the detox easier.

The point is to get OFF the drugs, not to switch. Ask your dr for some relaxation techniques. Find a hobby or something else to occupy your mind. Why may I ask were you on so much methadone? Is your problem absolved? Might be helpful when it comes to weaning you off this medicine.

Go to the health food store and get some “green” juices…filled with fresh wheat grass and other super healthy veggie enzymes, and get some high quality mega B/C vitamin formula and liquid minerals….and eat lots of fresh organic salads and brewers yeast and flax seed. The other “garbage” to get off of…is the standard American diet with white bread and frankofoods and over-processing and artificial ingredients…You need to arm yourself with lots of knowledge….as in Gary Null’s webpage…the last thing you need now is any more drugs! Instead you should join a meditation group and learn that your life spirit and goodwill is all you have, and everything else will pass!
